- 8 ounces block feta drained (best to not use the crumbled feta, try to find feta that is still sitting in brine) (vegan feta, if not vegan feel free to use regular feta)
- ¾ cup Greek yogurt non-dairy but if not vegan feel free to use greek yogurt
- 1 lemon zested
- 1-2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil more as needed
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoon chopped fresh mint
- optional nuts to garnish pine nuts or pistachios
Combine feta cheese, greek yogurt, and lemon in a food processor. While it’s processing, add olive oil through the top opening
Transfer the whipped feta to a serving dish and garnish with freshly cut mint, red pepper flakes, olive oil, and nuts
Store in the fridge for up to 3 days
