Orange Crispy Tofu Bowl

This orange crispy tofu bowl has a sweet and sticky orange sauce to coat the air fryer tofu and stir fried veggies!

Ingredients
  

Tofu

  • 1 15- oz pack of tofu
  • 2 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon tamari or soy sauce

Orange Sauce

  • zest of 1 orange
  • 1 navel orange juiced
  • ¼ cup vegetable broth
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic pressed
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Other Ingredients

  • 1 head of broccoli chopped
  • 3 bell peppers chopped
  • 1 red onion chopped
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • Brown rice for 4 servings

Optional Toppings

  • Green onion
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions
 

  • Press your tofu then rip into chunks to achieve a chewier texture. Then coat with the cornstarch and tamari. Place in the air fryer 400F for 15 minutes shaking ½ way through
  • Chop your veggies and stir fry with avocado oil for 5-7 minutes.
  • Make your sauce by combining all of the ingredients in a bowl then pour in a pan medium-high heat. Stir and let it thicken for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add your crispy tofu to the sauce then stir to combine over heat for another 1-2 minutes. Serve over a bed of rice and the veggies. Enjoy!
