Chocolate Ice Cream (aka Nice Cream)

This chocolate vegan ice cream is super creamy from the banana base and naturally sweetened from the dates.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup non dairy milk
  • 2 tablespoon oats
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 pitted dates
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Pinch of salt
  • Flaky Sea Salt optional to top

Instructions
 

  • Blend all of your ingredients together in a blender. Put in a ninja creami container (if you don’t have a ninja creami put it in a freezer safe container).
  • Put it in the freezer overnight. Put it in your ninja creami on “ice cream,” you may need to respin, then enjoy! If you don’t have a ninja creami, take your container out of the freezer then wait 15-30 minutes for it to soften then scoop directly from the container.
  • Optional to top with flakey sea salt for an extra punch!
