Everyone loves a fun drink!! Especially when citrus is in season! And especially one that has nutrient dense properties like this turmeric ginger fizz mocktail with black pepper!
Nutrition
The active ingredient in turmeric is curcumin, which has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. I paired this with black pepper because the piperine in black pepper enhances curcumin absorption in the body. This helps you get the full benefit of these incredible ingredients which is why I snuck in a little black pepper to this mocktail!
Mocktails
Mocktails are a great non-alcoholic choice for many reasons:
- Inclusivity: Mocktails allow everyone to participate in the social aspect of drinking without the alcohol.
- No Hangovers: With mocktails, you’re not getting a hangover the next day!! This should sell you alone!
- Staying Hydrated: Alcohol is a diuretic, which can lead to dehydration. Mocktails can help keep you hydrated.
- Rich in Nutrients: Many mocktails are made with fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and spices. This one has fresh ginger as well as apples!
- Promotes Better Sleep: Alcohol can interfere with your sleep cycle. Choosing a mocktail can help ensure that your sleep is not disturbed.
- Creativity in a Glass: Mocktails encourage creativity, allowing you to explore a wide range of ingredients and flavors!
